Beat the Heat ! Featured Artists Visit the Museum During Rally

Longmont, Colorado

Kayla is an amazing artist, motorcycle rider and world traveler. Well known for her moto inspired art, featuring vintage Harley-Davidson motors, to women donning helmets. Her art has been featured in several major art shows, including the David Mann Show, The Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary museum exhibit, and Michael Lichters Motorcycles As Art show. Kayla is currently working on a piece entitled “Fastest Women Period”, a tribute to her late friend Jessi Combs. This piece will be debuted here at the museum, during the 80th Sturgis Rally on Saturday, August 8th.

Darren McKeag

Darren is well known for his motorcycle influenced art. All of his enamel paintings are done by hand, with a brush. Darren also enjoys working in other mediums such as acrylic, pen and ink, colored pencils and limited edition screen printed posters. From complete motorcycle and helmet paint jobs, pin-striping, t-shirt and logo designs, Darren does it all. All while being one of the nicest and most down to earth people in the motorcycle industry.
