Sturgis, SD (May 6, 2015) –The Sturgis Buffalo Chip®’s Biker Belles event will celebrate women and the role they play in shaping the culture, sport, art and history of motorcycling on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads VIP Center. Created by the Buffalo Chip seven years ago to raise awareness of the passion, diversity and spirit of women in motorcycling and to raise funds for worthy local charities, the event has undergone some big changes for 2015.
The festivities will include a catered brunch, inspiring speakers, a pampering at the Comfort Zone sponsored by Team Diva and servicing options at Easy Eddie’s Tune-Up Tent. Attendees may also enter their ride in the unique bike show where entrants will share stories about their ride. Featured speaker and Motor Maids matriarch, Gloria Struck will give an entertaining presentation and safety expert, Vicky Sanfelipo, author of “A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist,” will offer safe riding tips.
Since its inception in 2009, Biker Belles has raised money for worthy charities, including the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame and Helping with Horsepower.
The event is open to both men and women, riders and non-riders, and participants are asked to make a $45 contribution to join the festivities. One hundred percent of the $45 registrants contributions will directly benefit worthy charities. Reservations may be made by visiting BikerBelles.com or by calling (605) 347-9000.
