For fans of antique motorcycles here’s a long range heads up to mark on your calendar. 100 riders on 100 year old motorcycles, all built before 1917, will leave Atlantic City, New Jersey on Thursday, September 8th, 2016. 17 days (16 on the road, 1 rest day) and 3,400 miles later they will end up in San Diego, California on Saturday, September 24th. It will be a tough ride for the ancient machines and their riders as most of the route will be on 2-lane back roads. For those of us who love old bikes, it will be 1 of the best motorcycling events to see.
