EVENT DETAILS — INFO FOR PUBLICATION BEGINS HERE
The event features custom, race, rare, and restored motorcycles built by and for women and is open to all attendees.
We are coming back to LA with a bang! The eighth annual Women’s Motorcycle Show will take place in the Los Angeles Arts District at AutoConduct. A one-acre compound with multiple buildings and a huge parking lot smack-dab in the heart of the city. An all-day event with daytime hangout time and interactive activations, with the evening switching back to our rock and roll roots. Live music will include multi-genre “Plastic Culture” and punk-rock-roots “Tarah Who?”.
We’re bringing back other crowd favorites including the raffle, piñata whack, and Hot Wheels track! And for the first time ever, thanks for our huge location, WMS will be hosting vendors. Come try on some new gear, challenge your friends to a digital drag race, and celebrate women in motorcycling while you’re at it.

THE WMS STORY
OBJECTIVE
To give women a platform to elevate their work and craft. Fostering these interests in kids and adults alike. When others see what can be done, they are inspired.
HISTORY
In 2011 the MotoLady website was founded. Every following year we held an anniversary party that took place around the middle of January to celebrate another year of women who ride. The fifth year of these parties became the first official Women’s Motorcycle Show!
In 2011 the MotoLady website was founded. Every following year we held an anniversary party that took place around the middle of January to celebrate another year of women who ride. The fifth year of these parties became the first official Women’s Motorcycle Show!
Our humble beginnings featured a kick-ass party with a collection of 17 custom motorcycles (one of which was actress Katee Sackhoff’s) and had something like 250-300 attendees.
Each year’s attendance exploded in number, bikes have filled the streets while folks clamored around inspiring works of rolling art. In 2018 we had some 2,000 people roll through in a four-hour period. The show has continued growing since then, with a devoted fanbase. In 2021 we took our event to Texas with great success, and 2022 we found ourselves in Oregon. Once event restrictions lifted, we knew we had to return to our Los Angeles roots for our eighth annual show.
The idea behind WMS is to open the minds of men and women riders alike to all the possibilities. To inspire. To capture that excitement and amplify it to the max.
