The MIC Acquires USMCA to Expand Rider Access to Nationwide Network of Coaches

The Motorcycle Industry Council has acquired the United States Motorcycle Coaching Association, an organization dedicated to connecting riders with certified motorcycle coaches across the country. The acquisition, part of MIC’s broader market expansion initiative, reinforces the organization’s commitment to supporting lifelong rider development and growing participation in the powersports industry.

“USMCA connects riders with trusted, skilled coaches through an easy-to-use platform,” said Christy LaCurelle, President and CEO of the MIC. “And since each coach must pass basic prerequisites and background checks, riders and their families can feel confident in their safety and quality of instruction. This acquisition strengthens MIC’s efforts to grow ridership in meaningful, sustainable ways, and ensures we’re supporting riders long after their first ride.”
