The 15th Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is Almost Complete

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Marks Its 15th Edition with Record-Breaking Results!

Fundraising and Gentlefolk competitions remain open until 31 May — and the 2026 gallery is now live.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) has wrapped its landmark 15th edition, with dapper riders circling the globe on Sunday 17 May 2026 in what has been confirmed as a record-breaking year for participation. The ride took place across 109 countries, with 1,068 rides — and fundraising for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research continues to climb.

With over US$60.37 million raised since the event’s founding in 2012, DGR’s 15th edition added to a legacy built ride by ride, city by city, across more than a decade of dapper philanthropy. More than US$170,000 raised Team Triumph alone, uniting modern classic enthusiasts and Triumph fans worldwide — a reflection of the broad community that has rallied behind the cause.

“Reaching our 15th edition is a powerful reminder of what a passionate global community can achieve together,” said Mark Hawwa, founder and director of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. “With over US$7 million raised and riders in 1,070 cities for 2026, DGR proves that motorcycles, style, and purpose make an incredible impact.”

All royalties from preorders of “Motorcycle Life” by Eric Hendrikx donated to DGR & Movember

This past Sunday, cities around the world filled with the sound of motorcycles, tailored suits, and something bigger than the machines themselves: community.

From Toronto to Tokyo, São Paulo to Sydney, more than 115,000 riders participated across over 1,000 rides globally—helping continue a movement that has now raised more than $60 million for Movember in support of men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

That spirit of connection, resilience, and shared passion is a big part of why Eric wrote “Motorcycle Life”—a book by a rider, for the culture.

Over the past few years, Eric has interviewed more than 100 riders around the world—including Keanu Reeves, Jason Momoa, Norman Reedus, Tommy Flanagan, Carey Hart, racers, builders, artists, and everyday riders—exploring what motorcycles teach us about freedom, grief, identity, adventure, and human connection.

To help support this cause, Eric has partnered with DGR and Movember to donate 100% of preorder royalties.

The ride may be over, but the fundraising isn’t.

Fundraising remains open, and there is still time to make a difference. The Fundraiser and Gentlefolk competitions close on Sunday 31st of May 2026, with prize winners announced shortly after. At stake is an extraordinary Gentlefolk Prize: a one-off custom Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer DGR Edition, created exclusively for this year’s event. Triumph will also award brand new modern classic motorcycles to the top three fundraisers worldwide. The Top 50 Fundraisers will be rewarded with a limited edition 2026 DGR x Hedon Hedonist Helmet and will also receive a pair of DGR x BRETT sunglasses from BRETT Eyewear for being a Top 50 global fundraiser. The Top 100 will receive a Quad Lock prize pack, and the Top 10 will earn a limited edition Brummell & DGR Blazer.

The 2026 DGR Gallery is officially live. Riders and spectators can now explore photos from across the globe at www.gentlemansride.com/gallery, reliving the style, spirit, and community that made this milestone year one for the history books.

About The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage style motorcycle riders all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia in 2012 by Mark Hawwa. After inspiration from a photograph featuring classic suits and vintage motorcycles, Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way to combat the often-negative stereotype of motorcyclists and connect the global motorcycling community and to raise funds for a cause important to every rider. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has raised over US$68M for prostate cancer research and men’s health since 2012.
