Republic of Texas Biker Rally Announces ZZ Top to Headline Saturday, June 9th

1

The Republic of Texas Biker Rally announces its Saturday night headliner, ZZ Top at the 24th annual rally held June 7 -10th at the Travis County Expo Center. “We have had many legendary bands at the Rally, but every year without fail our customers have asked for ZZ Top,” says Owner Jerry Bragg. “We have been working on getting them here and are thrilled to say they will be our headliner in 2018.” The band is scheduled to play Saturday, June 9th, 2018. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 11th at 10AM CT at www.rotrally.com. ZZ TOP a/k/a “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact and, in 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course, there are only three of them – Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard — but it’s still a remarkable achievement that they’re still very much together after more than 45 years of rock, blues, and boogie on the road and in the studio. THE INDIAN LARRY MOTORCYCLES GREASE MONKEY BLOCK PARTY 2017

Images & Article by Jack McIntyreINDIAN LARRY BLOCKPARTY 2017-5-3September 16, 2017: So what did we do today? Took off from Philly at 05:00 and arrived in Brooklyn NY bright and early for the set up of the Indian Larry Motorcycle Grease Monkey Block Party, 2017. This is an example of one of the greatest dedications of fans of the brand Indian Larry, and the generosity of all involved to continually donate to the Aidan Jack Seeger Foundation. INDIAN LARRY BLOCKPARTY 2017-3I walked the event shooting pics & talking with friends & visitors, and the event , as always, provided entertainment from one end to the other as seen in my images below. Motorcycles lined the surrounding streets, with a mix of custom cars, FXR stunt shows, music all day / night, and more. Enjoy the images, visit the Aidan has a Posse website if you can to donate & learn, and come to the party on 2018!

Reunited RATT and Night Ranger Bring Top 80s Rock to Sturgis Buffalo Chip®

Two of the most influential and memorable 80s bands of rock are bringing their list of hits to the Chip.

Sturgis, SD (May 9, 2017) Two of the bands that helped shaped ‘80s Sunset Strip-era rock ‘n’ roll and became part of the foundation of that genre’s transformation, will be leading the party at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Saturday, Aug. 5RATT, whose signature sound made them one of the most popular rock acts of the time and helped pioneer Hollwood’s legendary hard rock sound and scene will be sharing the stage with Night Ranger, a band that has significantly impacted popular culture and produced some of the most powerful songs of the decade. To see the Buffalo Chip’s official ‘80s-themed band announcement video and find more info, visit www.BuffaloChip.com/BANDS.

RATT has been spreading its infectious brand of Ratt ‘N’ Roll to the masses for nearly four decades now, but the reunion of four of the band’s original members makes the upcoming Buffalo Chip performance a particular stand out. Their list of platinum smashes including “Invasion of Your Privacy,” “Dancin’ Undercover” and “Reach for the Sky,” along with the blockbuster anthems “Round and Round,” “Wanted Man” and “Lay it Down” all contributed to their colossal success.1 2

Night Ranger has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style. The band earned widespread acclaim, multi-platinum and gold album status while leaving their indelible mark on the music charts with an impressive string of instantly recognizable hit singles and signature album tracks such as “Sister Christian”, “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, “When You Close Your Eyes” and “(You Can Still) Rock In America.”

“We receive more requests for the ‘80s rock than bands from any other genre,” said Rod Woodruff, President of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “RATT and Night Ranger combine on the first Saturday to give our fans an incredible rock and roll ride of that favored decade. There aren’t many of these legendary bands still touring, and here’s an opportunity to see two of the biggest on the same night, with just one pass. This is going to be one helluva big hair party!”

As the largest and most easily accessed concert and camping venue east of Sturgis, concert attendees not already camping at the Buffalo Chip will be able to access the free parking area at the east gate, about 5 miles from exit 37 on I-90.

Gettysburg Bike Week Enlists Foghat and 50 Shades of Men for 2017 Rally

English Classic Rockers and Female Favorites Booked for GBW 16th Anniversary

Gettysburg, PA (March 07, 2017) – Back for its 17th anniversary rally at the Allstar Events Complex in Gettysburg, PA, Gettysburg Bike Week is proud to feature English rock band Foghat and premier male revue 50 Shades of Men among this year’s entertainment slate. Festivities kick off Thursday, July 6, 2017, and run through Sunday, July 9.

Formed in England in the early 1970s, Foghat has sold millions of records and rocked audiences for decades. Known for their distinctive slide guitar sound and boogie woogie rhythms, Foghat continues to this day to bombard FM airwaves with classic rockers like “Slow Ride,” “Fool for the City” and their hard swinging version of Willie Dixon’s blues banger “I Just Want To Make Love To You.” 6

And GBW is happy to welcome the best male burlesque show in the country. Composed of national and international touring Chippendales past members, 50 Shades of Men is the premier male revue performing today.

And of course that’s just the tip of the entertainment iceberg, because legendary emcee Jack Schitt will once again perform master of ceremonies duties throughout the week on the Budweiser Stage, Gin Gypsies will be slinging the drinks and this year’s rally will feature a cornhole tournament (directed by York Adams Cornhole). Expect performances by the International Bikini Team as well, plus bike builders battling for the Biker Build-Off Championship; heavy competition in the Cycle Source Ride-In Bike Show, Ride and Rodeo; the Parade of Chrome; and that perennial crowd-pleaser, the GBW wet T-shirt contest. One, two and four-day passes are available here.

And, of course, no rally would be complete without great riding, and Gettysburg has some of the best. Whether riders want to see historic battlegrounds or just hit the road for a great cruise, hundreds of miles of the best riding in the East surrounds Gettysburg. In addition to fantastic solo riding, GBW also features awesome group rides and the Pink Journey of Lights and Stars of Hope Charity Rides.

Pricing for Gettysburg Bike Week is as follows:

$35 per-person 4-day passes, available online and at the gates.

$25 per-person 2-day passes, available online and at the gates.

$15 per-person 1-day passes, available online and at the gates.
