Participate in the All Kids Bike Virtual 7k and support getting kiddos on two wheels

United States [October 13, 2020] — All Kids Bike is hosting the second All Kids Bike Virtual 7k on November 14th to support getting children active across the nation. An opportunity for people of all ages, from all over the country, to get active and raise funds to support providing the life-changing opportunity for kindergartners to learn to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class.

This suggested 7k race distance reflects the average number of hours teenagers in America spend on a screen per day. All Kids Bike is on a mission to encourage children to spend more time with friends and family outside and being active! Although all distances are welcome and encouraged, embracing the 7k distance goes the extra mile for kids’ health.

All Kids Bike is a national movement, led by the Strider Education Foundation, on a mission to teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class. The All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Program is offered at zero cost to schools, thanks to generous donors. The Kindergarten PE Program equips teachers with everything needed to get their youngest students rolling, including a fleet of 2-in-1 balance-to-pedal bikes, kickstands, helmets, our integrative 8-lesson curriculum aligned to SHAPE America national PE standards, and a 5-year support plan.

The All Kids Bike Virtual 7k will be an activity challenge held on November 14, where registrants can choose their favorite activity to participate and challenge their family and friends. Registrants of all ages will pay a minimal registration fee, with all proceeds benefiting schools seeking the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Program. All registrants will receive a t-shirt, virtual race bib, and certificate of completion.
