Proceeds from auction support getting children on bikes in Kindergarten PE Class
When Michael Henry, a.k.a. Horny Mike, takes on a project, you might know where it starts but where it will lead is anybodyās guess. That was the case with Mikeās Tiny Strider Custom, a two-wheeler that started with a stock balance bike and took a hard left turn from there.
No marketing slouch Mike, he decided on strong branding right out of the box, cutting out a metal relief Countās Kustoms logo from steel. But placing that logo in an extended, fabricated swingarm/skatedeck combination piece? Thatās just how his mind works. Of course, angled apehanger bars were a necessary add-on.
The candy blue paint addresses a top skill in Mikeās wheelhouse, something he finished up minutes before he loaded the bike in his trailer for the trip to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. Weād be fibbing if we said the little bike made the trip unscathed; and thatās where Ryan Evans comes in.
Ryanās paintbrush and creative talents added both style and camo ā and we watched him in action as he applied the details, making this a truly collaborative Countās Kustoms project. āWhat took me on this journey is my love of airbrushing,ā he said. āBut as an artist Iām never satisfied and always need new challenges.ā One glance at Mikeās interpretation of a Strider Custom Bike confirms that!
Ā This one-of-a-kind Countās Kustoms creation will be auctioned off, starting Tuesday, March 31stĀ at 12pm MT and will run for a 72-hour period. Place your bid here:Ā https://striderbikes.com/buy/auction/counts-kustoms/
