Transforming Steel and Souls: Motorcycle Missions Unveils Custom Bagger Built by Veterans

Phoenix, AZ – [July 3, 2024] – In a celebration of craftsmanship, camaraderie, and the spirit of transformation, Motorcycle Missions proudly unveiled a fire-breathing custom performance bagger this past Saturday at The Roadhouse in Cave Creek, AZ. This unique project brought together eight U.S. Marine and Army veterans under the expert guidance of the legendary Paul Yaffe and his team at Bagger Nation.
Starting on February 1st, the veterans embarked on a journey to turn a 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide into a one-of-a-kind custom performance bagger. Meeting every Thursday, the team worked tirelessly, learning new skills and finding solace in the shared experience. The build was generously underwritten by State Farm and hosted by Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, with guest shop nights at Rolling Art Custom
Motorcycle Paint and Trask Performance.
“We believe in the power of motorcycles to heal and transform,” said Paul Yaffe, founder of Bagger Nation. “This build was about more than just creating a bike. It was about giving back to the veterans who have given so much for us”.
The project received substantial support from several sponsors, including:
A highlight of the build was the incredible performance enhancement achieved with the help of Trask Performance, resulting in the stock 107 HD motor delivering an impressive 140 horsepower on the dyno.
The culmination of this extraordinary project was the bike’s grand reveal, which took place at 5:30 PM on Saturday. An enthusiastic crowd of supporters and motorcycle enthusiasts gathered to witness the unveiling. The event was a poignant reminder of the power of community and the therapeutic impact of creative endeavors.
“This bike is more than just a machine; it’s a symbol of resilience and teamwork,” said a participating veteran. “Working on this project has been an unforgettable experience that has helped me reconnect and find purpose.”
Motorcycle Missions extends its deepest gratitude to all the sponsors and supporters who made this project possible. Their contributions have not only created an extraordinary motorcycle but have also provided a healing journey for these brave veterans.
