Post & Photos by Jack McIntyre
For a tour, I was the in house Photographer for the IMS / Ultimate Builders Shows. In doing that, I was exposed to some of the coolest motorcycles in the world, literally. Not only was I shooting them in the booth, engaging with the owners / builders, but I was often invited to sit on them getting a real feel for their engineering and so on. This particular Crocker belonged to a fella named Michael Schacht. It’s his 1942 Crocker Big Tank. He hand fabricated the bike to original design including the motor, clutch, and transmission. Take a look at the gallery of images below and visit CROCKER MOTORCYCLE’s website for more on their history.
