2026 Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited Models Introduce Enhanced Performance of New Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 117 Powertrain, Re-Styled Grand Tour-Pak® Luggage

 

MILWAUKEE (January 14 2026) – The new 2026 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models are Grand American Touring motorcycles optimized for the rider and passenger who prioritize luxury, performance and long-haul comfort. The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models boast the latest Grand American Touring design and technical improvements plus the enhanced performance of a new Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 117 powertrain, a restyled Grand Tour-Pak® luggage carrier, high-performance Rockford Fosgate® audio and host of new comfort and convenience features. The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models are poised to offer committed touring motorcyclists a transformational riding experience.

NEW Street Glide® Limited Model
The 2026 Street Glide® Limited model represents a dramatic evolution of the classic Harley-Davidson® touring platform. Behind the iconic “batwing” fairing a rider and partner can embrace the adventure of long-distance touring with a new level of luxury, technology, performance and style. Whether out for an evening cruise or an epic cross-country adventure, the Street Glide® Limited model offers a couple the perfect platform to reconnect through shared experiences.

• NEW Street Glide Fairing offers a classic Harley-Davidson “batwing” profile updated with evolved design and enhanced aerodynamic performance. Most riders will find that the combination of fairing, fairing lowers and air deflectors results in a significant improvement in overall aero comfort compared to the previous Ultra Limited® model.
  • The inner fairing incorporates a 12.3-inch color touchscreen display, two audio speakers and a single media storage drawer located directly below the infotainment display screen, equipped with a USB-C connection point.
  • NEW Clear Touring Windshield is approximately four inches taller than the standard Street Glide® model windscreen and shaped to contribute to aero comfort and protection from the elements.

• NEW Weight Reduction of approximately 24 pounds (10.9 kg) compared to the 2024 Ultra Limited model was achieved by shaving ounces whenever possible. The result is the optimization of every aspect of performance and in rider confidence in regard to lift-off the side stand, balancing at a stop and even moving the bike around the garage.

NEW Styling Features

• Chrome Trim or Black Trim in the following color options: Dark Billiard Gray (base), Vivid Black, White Onyx Pearl, Iron Horse Metallic, Brilliant Red, New Olive Steel Metallic/Vivid Black, New Purple Abyss/Vivid Black. (Color options may vary by market)
• NEW Wheel Design features 10 spokes that split to 20 spokes at the rim. Cast aluminum wheels feature black inner spokes and contrasting bright machine-finished spoke edges and rims.
• NEW Expanded Streamliner Collection accessories include rider footboards, passenger footboards, brake pedal pad, and highway pegs. Inspired by the art-deco designs of the Streamliner era, a chrome frame surrounds black rubber accented with three polished bands for style and grip.

NEW Road Glide® Limited Model
The 2026 Road Glide® Limited model is designed for the rider and partner craving a canyon-carving adventure on a bike that combines the performance and aerodynamic advantages of the Road Glide “sharknose” fairing with a full complement of luxury touring amenities. The new Road Glide® Limited model is ready transport those dedicated touring riders chasing a never-ending highway horizon.

• NEW Road Glide Fairingis designed to offer the rider exceptional aero comfort and dynamic style. Most riders will find that the combination of aero design and adjustable elements results in a significant improvement in overall aero comfort compared to previous Road Glide model fairing/windshield combinations.
  • The fairing is mounted directly to the motorcycle frame, making it independent of the steering and front suspension. This significantly reduces steering effort in tight maneuvers at low speed, compared with a fork-mounted fairing, because the rider does not have to support the weight of the fairing through the handlebar.
  • The inner fairing incorporates a 12.3-inch color touchscreen display, two audio speakers and left- and right-side media storage compartments. The right compartment is equipped with a USB-C connection point.
  • NEW Clear Touring Windshield is approximately four inches taller than the standard Road Glide® model windscreen and is shaped to contribute to aero comfort and offer protection from the elements.

NEW Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 117 Powertrain

With more displacement, enhanced intake and exhaust flow, and variable valve timing (VVT) the Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 117 engine offers 7.4% more torque and 14.0% more horsepower than the Twin Cooled™ Milwaukee-Eight® 114 powertrain in 2024 Grand American Touring models.

• Variable Valve Timing (VVT) broadens the overall powerband and improves city/highway average fuel efficiency by 2 percent to 3 percent compared to the same engine with fixed valve timing. The rider will feel improved low-end performance, ideal for passing, accelerating into traffic and climbing long mountain pass roads when laden with a passenger and gear.

• Cylinder head cooling system enhances engine cooling efficiency compared to the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 powertrain, especially in low-speed riding situations and hot weather.

• The charging system produces current capability at both idle and cruising speeds to support touring vehicle content and popular accessories while maintaining optimal battery health. Charging output is 58 peak amps, a 21 percent increase in charging power compared to 2024 models with the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 powertrain.

Suspension
Suspension components are designed to promote rider confidence and provide a dramatic improvement in rider comfort compared to 2024 Ultra Limited® and Road Glide® Limited models.

• Rear suspension features SHOWA® dual outboard emulsion technology shock absorbers, replacing previous rear suspension that used emulsion technology on one of two shocks. This provides improved damping response and a more predictable ride.
  • Travel is 3.0 inches (76 mm).
  • Rear suspension features a remote hydraulic pre-load adjuster knob located on the left side of the motorcycle forward of the saddlebag. Adjustments can easily be made to rear suspension preload without tools or removal of the saddlebag to accommodate up to an additional 100 pounds of cargo loading or short-term passenger adjustments beyond the primary suspension loading condition.
  • Pre-load adjustment for the primary loading condition (the condition that the vehicle will most often be used in, for example rider only or rider plus passenger) is accomplished by removing the right saddlebag and adjusting the threaded preload adjuster with the provided spanner tool.

• Front suspension is internally tuned to balance ride and performance with the rear suspension.
  • Front suspension is not adjustable.
  • Travel is 4.6 inches.

 

Aero Comfort
The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited model fairing, fairing lowers and air deflectors are elements of a system developed with wind tunnel testing to deliver outstanding aero comfort for the rider.

• Fairing lowers are designed to add wind and weather protection around the leg area.
• Integrated venting is designed to fine-tune airflow by using a small lever the rider can adjust.
• The adjustable fairing center vent offers the rider the opportunity to fine-tune airflow for ideal comfort based on rider stature, riding gear choice and prevailing conditions.
• Adjustable air deflectors are designed to deflect turbulent air away from the rider and passenger. The deflectors may be adjusted for desired airflow, and when stowed permit more air to flow to the rider’s torso for optimized comfort in warm conditions.
• Mid-Frame Air Deflectors below the seat direct engine heat away from the rider to further optimize comfort on hot summer rides.

Ergonomic Comfort
Extensive ergonomic modeling was employed to develop a rider and passenger environment focused on long-range comfort.

• NEW Comfort Heated Seating for rider and passenger is optimized for cool-weather comfort.
  • A new shape and padding materials update the look and feel of the seat while maintaining the long-range comfort touring riders demand.
  • The seat is shaped to rotate the rider’s hips to a neutral position relative to the spine. This helps reduce the effort required to maintain a comfortable riding posture, which can help reduce fatigue on rider back and neck.
  • The passenger seating area is slightly wider and re-shaped to optimize comfort.
  • Dual-zone heated rider and passenger seating is controlled by on-seat switches. Rider and passenger can individually select from High/Low/Off heat seatings to optimize comfort.
  • Street Glide® Limited laden seat height is 27.5 in. (699 mm).
  • Road Glide® Limited laden seat height is 27.5 in. (699 mm).
• NEW Heated Handgrips provide the rider with additional cool-weather comfort.
• NEW Highway Footpegs mount to the engine guard and offer the rider an optional foot position to stretch out legs on long rides. The footpegs are adjustable for rider preference.
• NEW Heel Shifter is adjustable for rider preference and may be easily removed.
• The front brake hand lever is adjustable for reach, to best match rider hand size or preference.
• Two pre-wired connection points for heated gear are provided below the seat, a location which makes it easy for rider and passenger to plug in heated gear without adding a connector.
• Hand control functions for menu-related selections on the display screen are relocated to the left-hand control, moving them away from the throttle (right) hand for rider convenience.

 

Luggage

• NEW Grand Tour-Pak®luggage carrier is shaped to complement the visual design elements of the new Grand American Touring bodywork. Overall passenger room has been increased along with overall improvement in ergonomics.
  • The upper passenger backrest is shaped to optimize comfort and to enable the installation of an optional heated lower backrest pad offered by Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories. Audio speaker enclosures have been repositioned to optimize passenger comfort while maintaining audio performance.
  • A new molded liner incorporates a pouch to secure small items. The entire liner is removeable for easy cleaning.
  • The carrier interior features a single 12 volt power point for charging personal devices.
  • Grand Tour-Pak luggage carrier capacity is the same as the previous King Tour-Pak® luggage carrier – 2.4 cubic feet  (68 liters). The carrier is shaped to hold two large full-face helmets.
  • NEW Premium Luggage Rack on the Grand Tour-Pak luggage carrier lid may be used to secure soft luggage.

• Hard-shell Locking Saddlebags have a combined capacity of 2.4 cubic feet (68 liters).

• Pull-out saddlebag liners make it easier to load and unload gear away from the bike.
• Tubular steel loop-style saddlebag guards protect the leading edge of each saddlebag.

• NEW Fairing Lower Storage Compartments with capacity of 0.15 cubic feet (4.2 liters) are built into each fairing lower. These compartments are ideal for keeping gloves, keys, wallet and other small items handy.
• Combined Luggage Capacity is 5.1 cubic feet (144 liters).

 

Technology

• Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson is a collection of technologies designed to enhance rider confidence during unexpected situations or adverse road conditions. Rider Safety Enhancements are designed to match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration and braking. The systems are electronic and utilize the latest chassis control, electronic brake control and powertrain technology. The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models are equipped with these elements of Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson:
  • Straight Line/Cornering Electronically Linked Brakes (ELB/C-ELB)
  • Straight Line/Cornering ABS (ABS/C-ABS)
  • Straight Line/Cornering Traction Control (TEC/C-TCS) with modes
  • Straight Line/Cornering Drag Torque Slip Control (DSCS/C-DSCS)
  • Vehicle Hold Control (VHC)
  • Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS)

• Selectable Ride Modes electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle and the level of technology intervention. The rider may use the hand control MODE button to change the active ride mode while riding the motorcycle or when stopped. A unique icon for each mode appears on the display when that mode has been selected. The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models are equipped with the following Ride Modes:
  • Road Mode: Intended for daily use, Road Mode delivers balanced performance.
  • Sport Mode: Sport Mode can maximize the full performance potential of the motorcycle in a direct and precise manner, with full power and the quickest throttle response.
  • Rain Mode: This mode is designed to give the rider greater confidence when riding in the rain or when traction is otherwise limited. The Rain Mode is also an appropriate setting for riders building confidence as they become familiar with the motorcycle.
  • Custom Mode: The customer may use the touch screen display to create a set of performance characteristics to meet personal preference or for special situations.
• All-LED lighting is designed to deliver style, outstanding lighting performance, and conspicuity to other motorists.
• NEW Integrated LED Fog Lamps in the fairing lowers offer cleaner styling and enhanced lighting performance compared to the auxiliary lighting of the 2024 Ultra Limited® model.
• NEW Restyled Taillight on the center of the lower rear fender features a more homogeneous appearance of LED elements for an updated look. It is flanked by LED signals in bullet housings.
• NEW LED Tour-Pak® Luggage Carrier Lighting is integrated into the rear surface of the carrier and illuminates as a position lamp and a brake light.

 

NEW Instrumentation/Infotainment System

• The Street Glide® Limited and Road Glide® Limited models feature a suite of infotainment technology powered by the exclusive Skyline™ OS.
  • A 12.3-inch (diagonal measurement) TFT color touch screen replaces all analog instrumentation and most switches.
  • Over the Air (OTA) software updates may be downloaded through the Skyline OS when the system is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Embedded Navigation is factory activated.
  • Wi-Fi connectivity enables wireless connection to a rider’s device to enable Wireless CarPlay and to provide live services like traffic, weather and map updates for navigation.
  • A Bluetooth® receiver for wireless headsets is built into the system.
  • All Apple CarPlay projection services from the rider’s device may be applied through the display. Android Auto projection services are not available, but Android users may stream music and place/receive calls through the system.
• NEW High-Performance Audio is provided by a 4-channel 200-watt amplifier rated at 50 watts per channel. The new amplifier delivers 100 percent more power and improved sonic performance compared to the previous BOOM!™ Box GTS system. The motorcycle is equipped with four premium Harley-Davidson® Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate® speakers – two 6.5-inch fairing-mounted speakers and two 6.5-inch Grand Tour-Pak® luggage carrier speakers.
  • Steel speaker grilles offer a premium look.
  • Harley-Davidson® Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate® speaker and amplifier upgrades (for fairing, fairing lowers, Tour-Pak® and saddlebags) are available through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories and can be installed by the customer using the Skyline™ OS user interface managed on the touchscreen.
