The revamped  AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show is back at 2024 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Yamaha!

As the AMA celebrates its 100th anniversary at this year’s VMD, the Bike Show seeks to find the best bikes from various eras over the past century. This year’s classes include:

• Pre-1940s
• 1940s & ’50s
• 1960s & ’70s
• 1980s & ’90s
• 2000-Present
• Competition
• Custom Bikes

Registration for the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame 100-Year Bike Show is $20, with all proceeds going to the  AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

As anticipation builds for 2024 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Yamaha, let’s take a look back some of the exciting happenings from last year’s event.When Allen Brotz makes his annual pilgrimage to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, there’s one thing he never leaves behind: his trusty cloth.

On the surface, it may seem silly to get excited over an average piece of cloth, but Brotz’s carries great significance, not only to him but to VMD as a whole. Since 1998, Brotz has collected the signatures of each AMA VMD grand marshal on his cloth, which depicts several road racers competing.

“I just thought it would be a neat way to keep them all together,” Brotz said.

Allen will have the opportunity to add the signature of 2024 VMD Grand Marshal Broc Glover to his cloth this year!
