The Sturgis Buffalo Chip invites you to participate in 4 ‘must do’ rides during the Sturgis Rally. Each is unique in its own right but all are designed to benefit local charities and each is a magnet for the biggest names in television, film, music and motorcycling.
The 7th annual Legends Ride is on Monday, August 4th. The ride, that benefits local charities like the Black Hills Special Olympics and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, begins at the Silverado in Deadwood and ends at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.
The 6th annual Biker Belles Celebration, presented by Harley-Davidson, will be Tuesday, Aug. 5 beginning at The Lodge at Deadwood. Following activities at The Lodge the Biker Belles will take a scenic ride through the Black Hills to a special catered reception, fashion show featuring Harley-Davidson Motorclothes and auction at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. 100% of contributions from the event directly benefit the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, and Helping with Horsepower.
One of the most unique rides in Sturgis is the Trike Owners United Ride (T.O.U.R.). On Wed., Aug. 6, riders of those motorcycles with an extra wheel will meet in Hill City and then take a scenic route to the Chip in Sturgis.
The Buffalo Chip has long supported the brave men and women serving in our military and dedicates an entire day, Thursday, Aug. 7, as Military Tribute Day. One of the highlights this year is the inaugural Chip’s Freedom Celebration Ride honoring America’s veterans and to raise funds for organizations benefiting wounded vets and their families.
