L.A.M.A. USA 20th National Moto Touring Rally Unites LAMA Chapters From Around The World!

It was a beautiful venue in Tennessee. The MeadowView Conference Center was surrounded by green mountains, blue skies, scenic roads, and provided the perfect backdrop for the gathering of L.A.M.A. chapters from around the United States and beyond. The event
celebrated the L.A.M.A. USA 20th National Motor Touring Championship Rally sponsored by Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®.

Wednesday evening was the Meet & Greet, where old friends reunited, and new friendships were made. The event was held on the conference center patio, complete with drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

Thursday and Friday were ride days, and the L.A.M.A.s enjoyed two carefully planned scenic rides that highlighted the beautiful landscapes in Tennessee and the surrounding areas. Riders also enjoyed riding the Back of the Dragon (32 Miles and 300 curves), The Snake (4 Valleys, 3 Mountains, 489 Curves), and visiting the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum and other attractions.

Saturday was the big day with the banquet and awards ceremony. It was a full house where all the L.A.M.A brothers and sisters gathered to enjoy a delicious meal while meeting the new board, hearing updates from the president, Mario Nieves, and celebrating their group and individual achievements with each other.

Motorcycle Safety Lawyers® (MSL) worked each day passing out our FREE swag to all the L.A.M.A.s and answering any legal questions they had. David “Vegas” Shuman also reviewed several members’ motorcycle insurance and advised them on what type of coverage they need to protect themselves and their families in case of an accident.

This is a FREE service that MSL provides. We do NOT sell insurance or recommend insurance companies.

Motorcycle Safety Lawyers® Receives Humanitarian Award!

Humanitarian Award
Humanitarian Award

It was an unexpected honor for Motorcycle Safety Lawyers® (MSL),
to be recognized by the LAMA National Board and awarded the Sponsorship Appreciation and Humanitarian Award at the recent LAMA USA 20th Annual Moto Touring Rally.

Heide ‘Fun Size’ Rivera gave a heartfelt, touching speech that thoroughly surprised David ‘Vegas’, Larry ‘Bear’ and Jean ‘Jeannie’ from MSL at the event. A copy of the speech is printed below:

As you all know, our organization takes pride in honoring those whose work protects the very heart of our communities, and the riders who make LAMA what it is today. This award is reserved for individuals and organizations whose service reaches beyond obligation and becomes a true act of humanity that comes straight from the heart.

It is my privilege to recognize a group whose dedication to riders is felt in every chapter, every community, and every mile traveled across this nation, and around the world.

When riders face danger on the road or injustice afterward, these advocates step forward. They fight for accountability, and for the rights of motorcyclists everywhere. They educate our chapters, empower our members, and stand beside families during their most difficult moments.

On behalf of LAMA USA, and with gratitude from every chapter and individuals they have helped, every event they have sponsored, and every rider they have protected, we extend our deepest appreciation for their service, compassion, and commitment.

Please allow me to present our sponsor appreciation and humanitarian award to …

David Shuman, Larry Stotts, and Jeannie Andersen of Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®.

On behalf of Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®, it has been our pleasure to serve the motorcycle community, including LAMA, in the past, and we look forward to continuing to support motorcyclists and this great organization in the years to come.

Thank you again for these awards. We accept them humbly and with great appreciation.

A Little Space Can Save A Life!

When you are following a motorcycle, please give that motorcycle in front of you a little extra space.

That extra space behind a motorcycle isn’t wasted space – it’s lifesaving space.

Motorcycles can stop faster than most drivers realize. Give riders at least 3-4 seconds of following distance to react safely.

A little patience and a little space mean everyone has a better chance of getting home safely.

More Space • More Time • Safer Stops

Motorcycle Safety Lawyers® Supports 3 Chicks On Route 66!

Motorcycle Safety Lawyers® (MSL) met these ‘3 Chicks’ from LAMA Ft. Worth, at the recent LAMA USA 20th National Moto Touring Rally. Their names are Stevie Primo Mendez, Jessica Maria Rosette-Maravilla, and Amanda Mendez and they are on an AngelKidz journey traveling down Route 66. They carry the mission of Hispanic Angels with them across every mile. Hispanic Angels is a 501C organization whose mission is to assist critically ill children and their families. They ride for those who can’t. They ride to honor the fighters, remember those we’ve lost, and uplift the families who carry their strength forward. One ride. One road. One mission.

3 Chicks On Route 66

When MSL learned about their mission, we wanted to help them stay safe as they traveled Route 66, beginning in Chicago, IL, and ending in Santa Monica, CA. We gave each one a National Biker VIP Roadside Assistance Card. Fortunately, none of them needed to use it, but it’s nice having peace of mind to know that you will be protected in case you encounter a roadside emergency with your bike.

Well, they did it! Congratulations to all three riders for a job well done! MSL was proud to help support you along the way.
