The team at AutoInsurance.org analyzed data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) CrashStats and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Centers for Environmental Information to find the best cities for motorcyclists in the US. We focused on three main factors: average annual precipitation, average annual temperature, and motorcycle fatalities per 1 million people. A quick look at what we found:

Kahului, Hawaii, is the best U.S. city for motorcyclists. Kahului has an average of 88 days of precipitation during the year and a daily temperature of 70 degrees. Additionally, there are 17.6 motorcyclists fatalities per one million residents.

Two Florida cities tie as the 2nd-best cities for motorcyclists: Key West and Tampa.

The state sees 107 days of precipitation, a daily temperature of 70.7 degrees, and 26.21 motorcyclists fatalities per one million residents.

Shreveport, Louisiana, is the 4th best U.S city for motorcyclists, with 99 days of precipitation, a daily temperature of 66 degrees, and 20.29 motorcyclists fatalities per one million residents.
