World’s-largest motorcycle auction serves as an annual mecca for enthusiasts each January
Walworth, Wis. – January 15, 2025 – Following the record-breaking Las Vegas Motorcycle auction
in 2025, Mecum Auctions is slated to return to the Entertainment Capital of the World this January
27-31 with another stellar lineup. With 2,000 motorcycles and more than 30 collections set to cross
the block at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa, it’s no wonder this world’s-largest event has
become an annual mecca for motorcycle enthusiasts. The auction’s singular focus on the very
machines that live at the heart of every motorcycle collector and enthusiast makes it an event to
look forward to year after year.

Compelled by an influx of early and eager consignors, Mecum Auctions added a day to this year’s
schedule in order to accommodate the high demand. What has typically been a four-day marathon
of motorcycle sales will this year span a full five days. Among the incredible consignments already
on the docket is a 1968 Honda CB750 Prototype, which has an impressive rap sheet as the very
first CB750 sent to American Honda for testing and marketing efforts. It boasts singularly unique
features as the only CB750 to have “HONDA” cast into the valve cover, the only to don a unique
Honda oval wing emblem, and the only to employ a flip-back seat—to name just a few. Alongside it
is a 2004 Honda RC174 George Beale Replica, which is a 1967 Factory Replica with
period-correct factory Honda livery constructed by British builder George Beale. Bringing the need
for speed to the block is a 2023 Harley-Davidson Rotax Jay Springsteen Flat Track Racer, which
was raced and signed by Jay Springsteen and last saw the track this September in Ohio.

Of the more than 30 collections consigned for the auction, a standout is The Richard Wolcott
McEnally Collection, comprising 150-plus high-quality motorcycles. The vast group is heavy on the
British-built beauties of the 1950s and ’60s, with dozens of desirable models from BSA, Matchless,
Triumph, Norton and beyond all selling at no reserve. The Roadhouse Collection is another
noteworthy roundup, this one paying homage to the American-made Harley-Davidson, with
offerings spanning from the 1930s to the 2000s and encompassing models from iconic
Knuckleheads to smooth-touring Electra Glides. Also on offer is The Estenson Vintage Collection,
an eye-catching group that’s heavy on off-road race bikes and more from the 1960s and ’70s, led
by a 1982 Harley-Davidson Woods Rotax Flat Tracker raced by Jay Springsteen, Scott Parker and
Randy Goss.
