Adam Farris builds custom mopeds and parts out of a shop called O’Malley’s Speed n Kustom in Richmond, Virginia. He sent us pics of his recent scoot and we had to share. It’s the embodiment of the runt of the litter stepping up to the bully and spitting in his face! Take that, big guy!
Here’s what Adam has to say about it:
“This is a kustom chopper I have been working on for a bit. It started life as a plain Batavus moped. I swapped the engine out for a Minarelli v1 with an 80cc Polini kit, 20mm carb and racing pipe. I cut the neck, stretched it out and hand fabbed the twisted springer forks. I made the hardtail struts, and added day of the dead fabric for the seat. For the tank, I used Lil Roths Freakin Fuscia metal flake, and had Michael’s Sign Company do the lettering and pin stripping.”
“It was a fun psychedelic chopper build, and hope you dig it!”
