Easy Upgrades to the Biltwell 22.06 Gringo S & Gringo SV Helmets

An easy upgrade for your ECE R220.06 Gringo S / SV helmets! Our Pinlock®’s lens insert combines rugged materials and advanced optic technologies to improve vision in a wide range of riding conditions. In sunshine, Pinlock’s ProtecTINT™ lens changes to light smoke in seconds to dramatically reduce glare. ProtecTINT returns to clear in nighttime and low-light situations. In wet weather and high humidity, Pinlock’s patented Dry Hydrophilic lens technology absorbs and holds moisture so you can see virtually fog-free.

Note: These shields will not work with the old ECE R22.05 Gringo S helmets because the closure has been updated.

Replacement shields for R22.06 Gringo S and Gringo SV helmets are injection molded with highly scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic. Anti-fog treatment is included for maximum optical clarity. We’ve got ’em in Clear, Chrome Mirror, Dark Smoke, and now ECE-compliant Light Smoke.
