This motorcycle was purchased by the Dallas Police Department in September of 1963.
On November 22, 1963 this motorcycle was only one month old and on that day in Dallas Texas was the 13th in the procession escorting President John F. Kennedy. During that escort President Kennedy was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. There were 13 Motorcycles in total escorting the President of which the other 12 are in other Museums and private collections throughout the Country.
